Teen Street Skills
Teen Street Skills is a 501(c)3 nonprofit educational community program designed by Robbie Buhl. The 3 1/2 hour program puts teens behind the wheel to learn skills used for a lifetime. Participants learn how to maximize car performance to properly react to adverse conditions. Best of all, Teen Street Skills relies 100% on sponsor support from businesses and individuals to underwrite program costs as it is FREE to participants.
The educational program is put on throughout the year at the Teen Street Skills proving ground in Corktown — Detroit’s oldest neighborhood — just minutes away from Buhl Sport Detroit’s headquarters at The Factory at Corktown. Along with lead instructor Robbie Buhl, the team of instructors is made up of those with racing and vehicle instruction in their background.
