RAISING AWARENESS AT THE NATIONAL BIKE SUMMIT

The Ford Driving Skills for Life team hosted a pop-up at the National Bike Summit in Washington, D.C., earlier this year. Attendees at the event, which was organized by the League of American Bicyclists, had the opportunity to experience VR glasses combined with a stationary bike. Users were put into a series of scenarios that help them better understand the vulnerability and needs of people biking as well as responsibilities of drivers and other road users.

THE ACADEMY: FREE ONLINE DRIVER TRAINING

Can’t make an in-person, hands-on training this year? We offer an online academy with a variety of safe-driving videos and simulations as well as tips and quizzes. Teen participants receive a certificate upon completion of the academy.
